Clusterfuck Inc.: Material Condensing Services

GARAGE Edition

(A performance-installation by Joey Cannizzaro and accomplices, with noise by Christopher Cole.)

Clusterfuck Inc. provides Material Condensing Services to our clients, purging them of cumbersome attachments by pulverizing their material possessions and then reconstituting the remains into a single, meaningful art object. Our team specializes in Demolition, Research & Development, and Construction, working quickly and bombastically to reduce the things you’ve grown attached to into a dense sculptural mass.

Somewhere between a Garage Sale, a Demolition Derby, a Home Makeover Show, and a Block Party, this very special GARAGE EDITION of Clusterfuck Inc. will tear through the defunct possessions of Matias Viegener and those of other participants like a Dionysian tornado. Noise will be provided by Christopher Cole.

If there are any things in your life that you would like to see bashed with a hammer, we ask that you bring them along with you on the day of the event or contact us to arrange for earlier delivery.

Joey Cannizzaro is an undisciplinary artist. Cannizzaro, along with Dan Bustillo, started The Best Friends Learning Gang, an experiment in disorderly, amateur education; he's also a member of neverhitsend, a collective that performatively researches communications ideology, surveillance, and privacy. Cannizzaro's work has been shown at 356 Mission, Machine Project, Centre Pompidou, Flux Factory, REDCAT, ForYourArt, some times, and a lot of other places. He holds an MFA from California Institute of the Arts and is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus at Los Angeles College.
