The parade marches north on Ridgeland to Augusta Street, turning east to disperse near Whittier Elementary School at Harvey Avenue.
Young and old and middlin', come and march with us and then come to the Terrain 4th Bar-b-que @ 704 Highland Ave. after the parade@ 12:00

Please join us this 4th of July day to parade the banners of the Protest Banner
lending Library in a joyful celebration.

In this turbulent political moment, it is when we most need to listen and support each other, but also celebrate ourselves and our loved ones.  This parade wants to be a celebration of community, and of the civil rights and duties of dissent, protest, as tools of social improvement.  We will parade the colorful banners in a spirit of joy and hope. We will chant, and be merry.

This event is open to everybody (You! Your family! Your friends! Doggies! Kitties! Bunnies!) No dress code required, but if you can wear the colors white, and/or red, and/or blue, that’d be neat.
